As the daughter of a teacher, developing a love of words was inevitable. I was the dorky kid who flew through all of her Accelerated Reader courses in school so I could have free time to read some more. Bored from reading the same books over and over, I started composing my own stories.

 

A few years ago, I learned that I love to interview remarkable human beings and share their stories of resilience, inspiration, and wisdom with the world. I’m grateful for every opportunity I have to show people how truly remarkable they are just by writing down a chapter of their life story from a new perspective.

In 2019, my love of words grew once again. I discovered that the technical writing that I was doing during app development at work actually had a name: UX writing. I've spent the last year soaking up as much information as I could about this exciting new field by reading, participating in UX writing challenges, and recently earning my official certification as a UX writer.

When I’m not writing, I’m probably taking photos of my three rescue dogs for their Instagram account.
